THE
CONNEMARA SUITE TARACD 4021
The Connemara Suite began some years ago when Bill was first asked to write for the Irish Chamber Orchestra. INISHLACKEN came first, that then led to CARNA and finally ERRISBEG. The virtuosity of the musicians and their enthusiasm for music making was a very rewarding experience for Bill as a composer. It also allowed him to write for traditional musicians within the framework of a chamber orchestra and the ICO who have always had a sense of adventure in their approach to their repertoire.
'The Connemara Suite', 'The Seville Suite', and 'EastWind' are also available from the Claddagh Records shop at,
2 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 Tel: +353 (0)1 6770262 or by mail-order: +353 (0)1 677 8943 or Email
